  • Simon Reid-Henry

    Founder and Executive Director. A respected thought leader on national politics and global affairs, Simon established Public Interest in 2023 as a platform for creatives, experts, and civic entrepreneurs to reimagine political horizons. Simon is a Research Professor at the Peace Research Institute Oslo and Honorary Professor at Queen Mary University London. He Is also co-founder of the Global Public Investment Network.

  • Deen Shariff Sharp

    Project Director and Associate. Deen is a scholar and senior advisor with extensive experience in sustainability, food security, and the built environment. He has a particular focus on East Africa and the Arab world and is a Visiting Fellow at the London School of Economics. Deen is based in Nairobi.

  • Florencia Terzano

    Project Manager and Associate. Florencia is a Uruguayan communications and project management specialist, with a background in international relations and experience from social enterprises and the private sector. Florencia is based in Barcelona.

  • Matheus Falcao

    Associate. Matheus is a Brazilian researcher and expert on global health equity, digital technologies and AI. He has worked with the National Council of Justice of Brazil and the Brazilian Institute for Consumers Defense (Idec). A lawyer by training, Matheus is based in Toronto. 

  • María Fernanda Bustos Venegas

    Associate. María Fernanda is an advocate for public health from a gender perspective. She is the founder of Sanemos por Igual and has extensive experience working with civil society organisations globally. Maria is based in Mexico City.

  • Eelco Szabó

    Associate. Eelco is a former general counsel who now advises on international organization law and governance as an independent advisor. Eelco is based in London. 

  • Catherine Fieschi

    Associate. Catherine is a political expert, global analyst and a sought after voice on populism, European politics, and contemporary forms of mobilisation. Catherine is based in Paris.

  • Ola Morris Innset

    Associate. Ola is a political economist, historian, editor and writer. He is a researcher at the Norwegian Business School (BI) and brings fresh insight into the politics of the welfare state. Ola is based in Oslo.
